Responsibilities and Results:
Strategy and Planning: Develop the overall organizational strategy. Create a detailed roadmap to achieve stated objectives.
Budgeting and Accounting: Create detailed budgets and get approvals from the Board. Ensure adherence to budget. Develop and implement accounting systems organization- wide.
Operations: Manage all our work in government school systems and other programs (as applicable).
Impact Assessment: Collect and analyze data to ascertain the quantum of impact (both quantitative and qualitative) achieved through our programs. Take decisions on future scale based on the measured effectiveness of various Avanti programs.
Team building: Maintain a strong recruiting pipeline. Build a capable second line of management. Own training and professional development for all employees. Develop a healthy working environment and a strong work ethic amongst all employees.
Fundraising: Develop and execute a fundraising strategy that covers multiple channels - foundations, HNIs, crowd sourced campaigns, corporate.
Communications: Maintain regular communication with both partner school systems and donors. Share success stories regularly.
Business Development: Maintain cordial relationships with existing partners. Explore interest amongst other government schools and low cost private schools to partner with Avanti in the future.
