HIVOS India seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Financial Controller. The incumbent is responsible for the organization’s statutory compliances (including audits), its financial administration, and administration of personnel policies, development and implementation of financial policy. S/he manages staff and consultants responsible for financial administration. S/he organizes legal advice for the office on its status, if necessary. A key component of this position will be to ensure that financial services are aligned with HIVOS India’s transition to a national entity and that all activities during the transition period are in compliance with Government of India’s legal framework.
