Oxfam International was founded in 1995 and today it is a confederation of 17 individual affiliates working together under the Oxfam International umbrella with over 3,000 partners in over a 100 countries with the aim of finding lasting solutions to poverty and injustice.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, manage and implement a fundraising strategy for the organization in conjunction with the marketing director with main focus on individuals and corporate sector.
Consolidate the existing operations and develop SOPs for all the fundraising and donor servicing activities.
Develop and implement systems for smooth functioning of the existing fundraising operations and regular updates of the MIS
Manage, build and motivate the fundraising teams (different cities) and take care of their induction and training needs.
Analyze, implement and monitor new growth potentials by introducing new fundraising channels, up-scaling existing activities and introducing innovative activities for fundraising to new cities / areas.
Market intelligence and key activities being undertaken by other NGOs raising funds.
Develop and protect Oxfam Indias brand status.
EXPERIENCE
Must Haves:
Minimum 8 years sales / fundraising experience with demonstrable track record.
Ability to budget and to monitor income and expenditure.
Understanding of different fundraising channels like DRTV, Face 2 Face, Telemarketing, Direct Mail, online, etc.
Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a delivery oriented team
Self motivated and result driven to reach ambitious growth
Preferable:
MBA Marketing preferred.
Demonstrable understanding and experience of gender and diversity issues and proven commitment to and evidence of promoting gender and diversity equity
Existing network within corporate sector would be desirable.
Past experience in individual fundraising through within the NGO sector.
