As a Quality Assurance Tester on Finance Systems you will be responsible for assuring and improving the quality of a finance web based application using software quality insurance tools programs to track and report on issues and enhancements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and tests new or modified financial software applications according to functional specifications and description of functionality to attain quality of the software.
- Identifies differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggests modifications to conform to standards.
- Performs Quality Assurance activities supporting developers through complete SDLC.
- Works with company’s standards, procedures and software development methodologies and documentation.
- May propose software enhancement for feasibility.
Education:
-University degree in Commerce Accounting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiar with web based applications;
- Familiar with accounting concepts or ERP systems would be considered an asset;
- Familiar with Software Quality Assurance or software testing would be considered an asset;
- Able to read, analyze and interpret information for documents;
- Organized, responsible, able to work independently and within a team;
- Able to meet tight deadlines and multitask;
