Swadesh Animation (P) Ltd., is a Game Development Studio located in Bangalore. We have a small team of developers, and artists, working on a next generation MMOG(Massively Multiplayer Online Game), called Online Tales(TM), with the inhouse title of Bruin. Our JV partners are Bitfold MMO, one of the world's foremost game development studios who have done consultancy work for major titles such as Heroes of Might and Magic. We are currently in prototyping and are headed for early Alpha, shortly.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. To create Sketches of props and individual environmental elements.
2. Character sketches and creature studies.
3. Detailed drawings of weapons and armor.
4. Communicate with production artists to help clarify concepts in order to achieve milestone objectives.
5. Fully realized inspirational paintings for the team and marketing.
6. Environmental studies, mood pieces and screen paint overs.
7. Sketches of props and individual environmental elements
8. Participates in meetings to share personal ideas.
Requirements for the Role:
1. One or more years of experience creating concept art for games / movies / comics or an exceptional talented fresher.
2. Experience in developing new concepts at every level, from visual exploration to setting a finished art direction for all the content of the property (Conceptualization).
3. Must be an imaginative and creative designer.
4. Art fundamentals of form, space, perspective, proportions.
5. Good understanding of lighting, composition and color theory.
6. A passion for video games.
Qualification:
1. Graduate in any stream
2. Highly proficient with Photoshop.
