Job Description
Hands-On Tech Leadership
Contribute to code, design reviews, architecture etc
Coach teams to improve velocity, quality, problem-solving approaches.
Validate solutions designs, new ideas, ensure faster iteration cycles.
Familiarize with codebase across ERP, POS to guide teams
Proven skills in working with distributed systems by way of APIs webhooks & industry std. integration patterns.
Familiar in using ETL tools.
Accelerate Dev Velocity:
Identify, eliminate bottlenecks
Introduce modern engg. practices
Champion productivity tooling
Improve engg. throughput using metrics
Enabling Teams
Helping unblock critical design, scaling/performance issues.
Mentor engineers
Encourage problem-solving, introduce fresh approaches, playbooks.
Strategic, Tech Leadership
Define, execute engineering vision aligned with long-term product & business strategy.
Lead modernization efforts: migration from monoliths to microservices, cloud-native arch., event/API integrations.
Ensure enterprise-grade scalability, security, performance, compliance across all products.
Build, mentor, scale high-performing engineering teams
Foster a culture based on ownership, collaboration, continuous learning.
Innovation & Ecosystem
Champion AI/ML, data-driven innovation
Explore emerging technologies (serverless, low-code, event streaming, API economy) for adoption.
Collaborate with key stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
15 yrs of engg. exp., with at least 8 yrs in senior leadership roles
Proficiency in DotNet, Python, Node, DBs (Postgres, Mongo), frameworks
Understanding of system architecture principles, design patterns & Flutter
Deep exp. in cloud-native (Azure) microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), event-driven systems
Must have shipped products faster
Strong understanding of both architecture at scale & day-to-day ops
Startup-style bias for action
Note - Candidate need to be from Kolkata or open for relocation.
