The fair trade Network of Asia and Pacific Producers’ (NAPP) organization, Hong Kong, has a mission to facilitate fair trade certified producers in Asia and Pacific and to be effective in various functions and activities across the Asia Pacific region.
Program Lead – Social Risk and Compliance to ensure protection of children and vulnerable adults within the fair trade system in the Asia and Pacific region. This is a new position since NAPP is in its restructuring phase and wishes to incorporate rights based approach in the practices of the network.
Essential Experience and Skills:
• A post graduate in any discipline from a reputed University / Institute with minimum 7 years of experience with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in managing rights based programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of other regional languages (Chinese, South East Asian languages) would be most helpful.
• Ability to incorporate multi-stakeholder approach to prevent and address child and forced labour issues, including discrimination.
• knowledge about the rights based wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults within the safeguarding context in urban and rural settings
